A photographer with a passion for coffee-fueled days, and a designer with a passion for wild ice cream concoctions came together to form Mug & Spoon. From one end, we focus on old fashioned classic quality - a high end, local taste. From the other we dive off the deep end of crazy flavor, experimenting daily with a 'no rules' mentality. We play with eccentric new concepts, flavors, and ideas every day - but we know a straight up cup of coffee is timeless.
We have expanded into a brand new full service restaurant called Somewhere! Which is a brand new re-imagining of Mug & Spoon - a blend of local coffee, creative brunch, dinner & desserts, and innovative cocktails.
We hope to wow you, to make your day, to float the smell of fresh brewed coffee & fresh made waffle cones out on to the ocean breeze, and invite you in to say hello.

We are fortunate enough to work with the local coffee gurus of Brandywine Coffee Roasters, located in Wilmington, Delaware. They focus on transparency in sourcing from seed to cup, and roast seasonally by harvest, to ensure the freshest product all year round. They are coffee masters, artists, connoisseurs, and simply - coffee lovers.

Our creative concoctions
Our menu is designed by creative minds, using only the best ingredients. From a Caribbean/Street Food inspired menu, to specialty lattes & colorful cocktails, we create innovative crossovers between food, coffee, liquor, and ice cream that are sure to excite. Ice cream donuts, cookie skillets, affogatos, and beer floats are just a few of the highlights!
The best part is getting our team and our customers involved in the creative process! Even the most outlandish ideas lead to incredible menu items - non-dairy options, crazy flavor combinations, and over the top everything.

Mug & Spoon at Somewhere is looking for charismatic, upbeat individuals who would love to join a fun, hard-working team! We will be hiring for these positions:
• Kitchen Team - food prep, stocking, cleaning, line cooks
• Chef / Chef Team - Looking for chef & sous chef to work with us in designing a brand new menu for our new location. Some breakfast experience preferred.
• Manager / GM - Must have some previous restaurant experience, great time management and ability to organize multiple shop locations, schedules & day to day operations.
• Server - Previous serving experience is preferred
• Barista - Preference to applicants with little or no prior coffee experience
• General Responsibilities for most team members will include cheerful customer service, food prep, register duties, and stocking/cleaning.
We seek hard-working creatives who are excited to contribute ideas to our always growing menu.
